Bachelor dissertation: Arranging pupils

Pupils locked up within wooden frames are gravely rotating as if observing and reflecting on the world outside. The reflections of the world that appear on the pupils were always of extraordinary interest to me.

Pupils were always mentioned in mythologies throughout history; they are the gateways of one’s mind, the doors to the realm of light and being, the vistas of one’s soul and cognition.

Pupils, in my view, are agents to our most profound emotions such as euphoria, doubt, fear, sorrow, amazement, acceptance and negation.

Brahma opens his eyes, and a world comes into being, governed by an Indra. Brahma closes his eyes, and a world goes out of being. The life of a Brahma is 432,000 years. When he dies, the lotus goes back, and another lotus is formed, and another Brahma. Then think of the galaxies beyond galaxies in infinite space, each a lotus, with a Brahma sitting on it, opening his eyes, closing his eyes.
